Ethan Day doesn’t want to be a magical boy. Terrified of conflict, and often freezes in place when danger is present, Ethan is a nervous, panicky boy who just so happened to be at the wrong place and wrong time when he got his powers. Despite his anxiety, he enjoys theatre and singing, and hopes to be able to overcome his fears and sing on stage one day.

His pendant allows him to transform, and the pendant itself turns into a large, sun shaped staff that can produce fireballs. Despite the radiant flames and the heat they produce, the fire will not burn any flammable materials or structures if Ethan doesn’t wish to.
